I think we can do without Cancer Bob and his corruption crew.
ReplyDeleteAnd many of the old fools will hardly last another winter if the pollution doesn't take them onwards first.
These are the politicians of yesteryear and not Thanet's future.
Do not vote for them.
George Osborne today announced that tax havens such as Jersey etc will be revealing names, accounts etc to the taxman and public.
ReplyDeleteBritish Virgin Islands was mentioned specifically which will be handy for Pleasurama and SFP.
Most of the above policies are nonsense - council tax frozen was a requirement by central government for example to damp down the potential for riots/revolution in one of the worst recessions. And the £40M was also from Westminster to lots of councils - KCC creamed off £10M for trains and County Hall and most of the remaining £30m hasn't been given out after over a year.
Not really an economic stimulus unless you're a County Hall bureaucrat or train driver.
Hence 20% youth unemployment the worst ever. Add in EKO, Top Temps etc and the waste is millions if not billions.
Maybe they're trying not to be elected.
Manston night flights noise and pollution or Southern Water sewage cleanup in the last few years weren't great policies either.
