Lord Pendry backs Ladyman in South ThanetLord Pendry, who was born in Broadstairs and raised in Ramsgate has given his backing to Stephen Ladyman in South Thanet. Lord Pendry will be coming to the constituency to help in the campaign.Stephen Ladyman said:"It is kind of Tom to back my campaign. I look forward to him joining me on the campaign trail. He was a great MP and is well known locally.""I also have the support of a former Liberal MP, Bill Pitt, who now lives in Broadstairs and who is encouraging Liberal Democrats not to waste their vote on the Liberal Democrat candidate but to vote Labour instead.
