GIVE YOUR VIEWS ON SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTS

Do you feel you know where your Council Tax is spent? Local people now have the chance to give their views about how the council gives them that information.

This year's Summary of Accounts survey is now available online at www.thanet.gov.uk or at local libraries or Thanet's Gateway Plus. It looks at the council's annual Summary of Accounts, which is published at the end of each year in the council's magazine, Thanet Matters.

The aim is to find out if the information is easy to understand and whether it is interesting. It also asks questions about how the information is presented, whether it shows clearly where people's Council Tax is spent and whether it is written in plain English.

Surveys can either be completed on the council's website or can be returned free of charge to Communications, FREEPOST SEA 8273, Thanet District Council, PO Box 9, Cecil Street, Margate CT9 1XZ. All surveys need to be returned by Friday 14 May.
