DO YOU NEED A POSTAL VOTE FOR MAY 5TH?

Elections are upon us again - to determine both the future councils for Thanet, Sandwich and the little Stour Villages, and the all important vote on our electoral system. Are you registered for a postal vote if you are not going to be at home on 5^th May? Might you not make it to the polling station? Would you find it more convenient to vote by post?

As you might suspect I would like to urge you to vote for Conservatives at the local election – as Conservative Councils will only promise what they can deliver and only deliver what we can afford. And I would also urge you to vote NO to the Alternative Vote which gives only minority party voters a second vote and leaves the majority extremely discontented about the result.

But this email is about encouraging you to vote - whichever way you want to vote. There are only 3 days before the deadline – 14^th April -  to register to vote by post and if you need a POSTAL VOTE and have not registered yet please do contact Thanet District Council or Dover District Council to register.
