A Summer Squall creates a commotion in Ramsgate...

This year's A SUMMER SQUALL arts festival opens in Ramsgate on Saturday 25 August @ 10am. It is launched by Thanet Open Studios which run this weekend 18/19 August and then the festival weekend of 25-27 August.

The Squall offers three days of theatre, dance, comedy, music, art installations and exhibitions, talks, workshops - it's a commotion of creative activity which we believe really does have something for everyone, whatever your age and taste! There's lots happening on Ramsgate harbour and performances and workshops in venues around town. Full details are at  http://ramsgatearts.org/squall/summer-squall-programme  and programmes are available around Thanet.

THANET OPEN STUDIO details are on our website and programmes are available around town.

We're looking for a few more volunteers at the events, so if you can spare a couple of hours, we'd love you! Please get in touch or see details here: http://ramsgatearts.org/squall/volunteer-at-the-squall
