Six sites in Thanet have been agreed as suitable for disposal by Cabinet Members at Thanet District Council last night (Thursday 8 November).
The sites and proposals for future use are as follows:
These sites have been identified as suitable for disposal in line with the council’s Interim Asset Disposal Plan, which was adopted earlier this year.
Ward consultation was undertaken around each site to ensure the local community had an opportunity to comment and three responses were received.
This is all part of a strategy to ensure that the council manages its large portfolio of properties and sites appropriately. The funds raised through this process will be used to help fund future capital projects and corporate objectives.
