Life Drawing Classes at Marine Studios


Life Drawing Classes with Roy Eastland
May: 14th, 19th, 28th
June: 2nd, 11th, 16th
Thursday classes: 2-4:30pm
Saturday classes: 10:30-1pm
Classes cost £17.50
Part exhibition, part Artists studio Roy Eastland will be in residence and visitors will be invited to discuss and learn more about the thoughts and processes behind the beautiful evocative works on display in the gallery. Throughout the months of May and June, Roy will deliver a series of Life Drawing classes which will be held in the gallery. These classes will allow groups to work on their life drawing skills while surrounded by Roy’s artwork and with the artist himself there to teach. All abilities welcome.
Maximum 6 people per class so please check availability in advance.
Please bring your own drawing materials.

the gallery will be closed for Life Drawing classes)
This exciting exhibition will present recent and new drawings by Roy Eastland.
Part exhibition, part Artists studio this exhibition will provide an opportunity for Roy to review his work and to consider the various persistent and recurring themes and explore how these might be developed through future works of art and future presentations of his artwork.   The exhibition will include ‘finished’ work alongside sketchbooks and ongoing ideas-in-progress.
The exhibition itself will change throughout the time span of the exhibition as new works are added and pieces repositioned to form different clusters and connections. Roy will be in residence in the exhibition and visitors will be invited to discuss the works and learn more about the thoughts and processes behind the beautiful evocative works on display. Roy will also be holding a series of life drawing classes in the gallery.
