Wind farm company, London Array have been announced as main sponsors of Ramsgate Week.
Ramsgate Week, hosted by Royal Temple Yacht Club, is one of the major sailing events on the East Coast. It is an international regatta attracting sailors from the UK, France, Holland and Belgium.
The sponsorship deal allows Ramsgate Week to continue to develop this popular regatta, which will take place from 25th - 30th July 2011 and this year will be host the East Coast IRC Regional Championship.
Mike Brand, Commodore of the Royal Temple Yacht Club, commented "We are delighted to be working with London Array and look forward to further developing Ramsgate Week."
Thomas Bonnichsen, London Array's Construction Manager added "Ramsgate is the home base for the construction, operations and maintenance of the wind farm and it gives us great pleasure to support this popular and family friendly event, which attracts people to Ramsgate from far and wide each year."
