It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Cllr Brian Goodwin at the weekend.
I knew Brian before he became a councillor and even then he was regularly assisting fellow residents with their problems.
His recent serious illness caused all members concern and we know he fought very bravely throughout.
Our thoughts at this very sad time are with his wife Ann and the family.
