Public Meeting TIME TO SCRAP THE COUNCIL?

What's your view of Thanet District Council?
How well are they serving this community? How should things change?
Should the council be abolished?
Come to this public meeting, called by Thanet Watch magazine, to put your views.
The meeting will begin with the screening of a new short film about the council.

  1. What do do you mean by your suggestion to abolish TDC and what would you put in its place? Some kind of workers soviet perhaps. You would like that. Who do you propose for the Dear Leader of the Democratic Peoples Republic Of Thanet [DPROT]?

  2. Just by quickly reading the headline it was obvious who was behind this press release... yes I know blogger Matthew Brown also calls for TDC to be scrapped, but he couldn't organise a cup of tea in a cafe let alone a public meeting!

    I too am wondering who or what should replace TDC, short of other councils (Dover and Canterbury?) taking over.
